The way they finished the game looked to me like y'all weren't the only ones going Jumbo at halftime.

I know it is easy to critique, and much harder to play. Just the same, Mizzou turnovers did them in.

What's up with Oriahki and technical fouls?

And that foul on Pressy at end of regulation game seemed very flagrant to me.

And to top it off, I never saw SoCal, his SEC shirt or JUMBO sign......very disappointing.

I'm back. It was an awesome game. Really didnt want it to end.

Shabazz is gonna be a star in the NBA.

So is Pressey, once he figures everything out.

The refs were bullshite. I heard Pressey hit the floor all the way up in my seat. Should have been a flagrant.

#24 for UCLA, Can't remember his name, lit it up. You know Shabazz is gonna get his, but letting this guy lit us up made no sense.

AO let the refs get in his head early.

We lost, but I felt like it was a learning experience. When this team figures it all out, they will be a tough out in March. UCLA has some big time players, and MU outplayed their talent for much of the game.

Finally, the UCLA cheerleaders and dancers...

Flip plays 5 great minutes then 5 minutes of uncontrolled panic play.

And I think the official scorer has a thing for Flip. Even Walton did not believe he had 12 assists. They all thought he had 8.

If Flip played under control he would have had 20 pts and 25 assists.

When we were up late and got those two steals, I started thinking UCLA was gonna quit. Then BH called the TO. They got reorganized and went on their run.

I knew we were beat when we had to go to OT.

We had them in the cross-hairs, couldn't pull the trigger.

For what its worth I had many people come up to me after the game, and comment that they thought MU looks like a Final Four team to them. I'm not gonna jump on that bandwagon, but when this team gels, look out.

And just when should we expect even the slightest sign of him 'figuring it out'?

I'm tired of people making excuses for him. When he was a freshman everyone said just give him some time.. two years later and he may in fact be making worse decisions than he did as a freshman. People that don't want to criticize him are in denial.

I don't like this team.

Oriakhi is a bitch. Pouted all game, instead of being a leader with national championship experience. He looks 35 but acted like he was 17. Also, he allegedly spit on someone.. I just don't like the guy.

Webster Chan is brutal. Has nothing to do with being a freshman, he looks like a bad athlete.

Pressey is running his own show. It's apparent no one has chewed his arse in his 3 years at Mizzou. Hardly any progression from his freshman year, zero leadership.

J Brown is too fried up. I support weed smoking, but he is a burn out. Expect some decent ball, he's super talented, but he doesn't have that flame inside to be anything special. He'll have some nice games, but expect him to disappear when it matters.

MO, you are a bit too negative, IMO.

This team has its positives and negatives.

First off, I mostly agree with your assessment of Pressey. He can literally dominate the game, but shoots himself and his team in the foot in nearly every close game. He needs to play solid basketball at the end. That's what winners do.

Your post on Jabari Brown is libelous. Not sure where you are going with that. I've enjoyed watching him play. He has made some mistakes, but overall I think he is a good player that makes Mizzou better.

Webster Chan is just a freshman that looks like he is too afraid to make mistakes and thus is not a difference maker. Perhaps Phil and WC could learn something from each other. He's just a freshman though, so it's difficult to tell what type of player he will be in a year or two.

I love the talent of the team, but think that a lack of real leadership could be their downfall. Everyone is thinking conference will be easy. It will be entertaining, but not easy in the slightest.

Order up another jumbo mogray, this teams good. I'm just as pissed about the loss as anyone, or more so, but no need to attack all the kids so harshly.

Flip has shown he has the skill sets. Now he needs to show he's become a leader and that means taking better care of the ball with the lead late in a game. No need for the flash at that point.

Oriakhi is a beast on the boards and solid defensively. Yes, he needs to stop showing up the refs. I think his past showing up refs is what led to his technical, not so much what he actually did by setting the ball down.

Brown is a player. Remember, he's only played less than a half dozen games of competitive ball in over 2 years. At times, the game speeds by him, but of the youngsters he certainly handles it better than the others.

NWC is being asked to do things that he shouldn't/isn't capable of doing and I think that's affecting the rest of his game.

I think we'll still lose 3 or 4 more games this year. But that doesn't make them a bad team. Just get 'em ready for tourney time.

It's not that think this team isn't good, still final 4 potential..it's just a team that I don't really like.

Oriakhi pouted all game, I hate that stuff. He looks 35 and has won a national championship, he should be the last one pouting over bad calls. I also hate guys that spit on people, I don't know for sure, but that seems to be the rumor.

I don't know why people keep telling me Pressey has skill. That is obvious. He is great, but he hasn't matured one bit since his freshman year... it's just about January of his junior year, at what point does it become a concern that he isn't maturing?

Brown is a player, didn't say he wasn't, and I've enjoyed his play. Just said I think he's too fried up, too much of a burnout and he won't have that internal fire to be there when it matters. Hope he proves me wrong.

Webster Chan is not good, not now or ever. I'm afraid he isn't a very good athlete. Again, hope he proves me wrong.. but not seeing it.

I do really like Bowers and Ross, I think they're good people and great players. And Bell is too, even though he screwed that up bd last night.

May have overreacted, but I'm just so disappointed in Flip, and think people slobber over him way too much. And I really don't like Oriakhi at all. I remember that scuffle against Illinois, he's the biggest guy on the court, and he was taking steps backwards while that was heating up, while everyone else was rushing into it. Then he pouts all game last night, and spits on a guy. Not my kinda guy.
