According to someone at TI....
--Barrett Jones (left foot). The Tide's Rimington winner is wearing a black jersey, riding the bike. Jones' lower left leg in a cast type wrap. Was doing intervals -- mixture of low and high intensity -- on the bike. Did not seem to have any issues with the high intensity work.
--With Jones wearing black, redshirt freshman center Ryan Kelly was working with the first unit OL. Redshirt sophomore Chad Lindsay was with the third group at center. Lindsay also works with the second unit at left guard.
--Kenny Bell (leg surgery) also on the bike/black jersey. Like Jones, Bell seemed to manage the intervals on the bike with no issues.
--RB Jalson Fowler (knee surgery) was also dressed in black/on the bike.
--Rehabbing on the far field were running back Dee Hart (knee surgery) and wide receiver DeAndrew White (knee surgery). Both players were doing stretching and light running during the media viewing period. Both were in black.
--Safety Jarrick Wiliams (shoulder surgery) was dressed in black but was participating in early drills with the secondary.
--DL Jesse Williams (knee) was participating in drills with no apparent issues.
--Other than those mentioned, the general overall condition of the players appeared to be good.

would he play if he was healthy..we have a lot of Safeties and I don't think so

Is Fowler eligible for a redshirt?
Posted on 12/18/12 at 5:55 pm to TreyAnastasio
they can apply for a medical RS and that might give him another year. He needs to have a huge year in 13 to get NFL guys to even sniff his way since he has not been a starter

How many games did he play in?

Jarrick looked pretty good out there ( BOL Practice Video). I seriously doubt that he will be cleared for the Champ Game, but he looks to be primed and ready to go for the Spring.
ETA: Saban Presser updates:

Injuries: Barrett Jones - not practicing this week. Being careful right now. Day-to-day. Nothing until after Christmas.
Bell cleared to do some things. How he does, manages it and tolerance will determine his chances. Can't say if he might play yet.
Jarrick Williams has been cleared to practice. Not sure if he'll play yet, depends on how well he progresses.

1 1/2. Played against Michigan, was injured against WKU.

You can apply for medical redshirt if you have not participated in over 20% of the contests and the injury occurs in the first half of the season.
14 games x .20 = 2.8 or 3 games.
Did Fowler play in more than 3 games?

I don't remember Fowler using his RS, he did sit out his last year in HS.
if he didn't use one already, I would like to see him go ahead and get one for this year.

I don't think Fowler or Jarrick have been redshirted. Obviously Jarrick can use this season as such, since he didnt play and hopefully Jalston will be able to as well...

He was gonna play Money this year, he's a lot better in coverage than Perry and Sunseri, but we shouldn't play him against ND. We RS him this year and keep him at Money for two years with HaHa and Collins at Safety.

Yeah, I knew Jarrick hadn't been RS'd, and according to rolltide.com Fowler hasn't be RS'd either.

Why did he not redshirt as a freshman?
Posted on 12/18/12 at 9:39 pm to TreyAnastasio
I don't know, me and Saban talked it over and ultimately decided that it was best for him not to RS.

Just seems like an odd move.
