If you look at his official visits we are the only real team still involved. But there is no telling where he ends up, especially with Brewester making a late push.

This seems like a case where he was planning on Ole Miss, then a strong, late push by Washington gave him something to think about. We'll see if Tosh Lupoi can pull it out, but I'm thinking that we're too late to the party.

Yeah. We played them in 2009 at home and I jumped on to give advice to LSU travelers on what to do in the area. Ended up sticking around and am now corrupted just like everyone else here.

Neal said something weird a few minutes ago. He said that we wouldn't take both Smith and Hooks. That doesn't sound right to me but I could be wrong.

Meh - one is an end and one is a tackle - and you've got plenty of space in the class.
Obviously, Hooks is your more glaring need. You've got plenty of young talent at DE...

Honestly we don't have "plenty" of room but we need a DT bad. I could see us backing off Smith if we feel good about RN, Lawson and Carr but he is still a somewhat experienced talent.
