anyone else? I'm not saying Gustav will not be successful, but it doesn't feel like much of anything changed.

Agree. I think Auburn like Bama did needed to go in a different direction and break old ties. This has a Dubose/ Shula feel to it even tough he is likely far more successful than either.

Gus is still "all-in"... nothing has changed.

I hope they go 3-9 again next year. frick Auburn.

ETA: I got a $60 bottle of Grey Goose out of the game this year. I'll be looking for a repeat.

It reminds you of a bad pro team that continually promotes an assistant after firing its HC.

Now obviously the offense will improve, but will the real problems? Time will tell.

The name you're looking for is the Raiders.

Watch which coaches he keeps on staff. S&C coach? Will he run the trash off.

The amount of influence that bible thumpers have on so many things in the state of Alabama blows my mind. I mean Bobby Petrino was on the table and seems to have really wanted the job. Unreal. I suppose it's more so in Auburn than Tuscaloosa; everyone knows Nick has enjoyed the company of a sidepiece on numerous occasions.

The image I get when the "Auburn Family" meets behind closed doors.

Yeah, but Nick is smart enough to not put her on a motorcycle, during the day, and joy ride.

His love affair with Michael Dyer should answer that question.

He could beat any of the current coaches in gum chewing contests. Although I'm uncertain of Bielema's masticating prowess.
