...but having seen Jacobs at the presser, you have to agree that Gustav was probably the best HC he was capable of hiring.
I'm still thankful we didn't end up with Neil Callaway. Or more likely, that the search didn't end the same way the one for a basketball coach ended when Sonny announced his resignation during the '85-'86 season....

For awhile there i was convinced that Jacobs would sign Dan hawkins to a 15 year deal worth a gajillion dollars and then retire after the presser. He really is an idiot.
As for the Gus hire, I'm not overly excited about it. If he manages to bring in a really good DC and lets him do his job, then I will perk up a little more.
