The BCS is what it is. The 2 per conference max is due to politics and isn't in the confeerence's control.

But the fact that we are making commonplace of sending 10-2 teams to play in the Chick-Fil-A is a problem. Atlanta is not a good bowl destination for SEC teams. The ACC gets a higher payout and there is the potential for rematch issues.

Replacing this game with a Holiday Bowl vs. the PAC 12 or a Big 12 team in a bowl in Texas or Arizona would be a good move.

I think it shows the amount of talent we have in the sec. The peach bowl is a great ratings game as well.

The system is clearly broken and is being replaced thank God but I have a bad feeling that a Big East champ in Boise St. etc. will end up in the big playoff just for winning that pathetic conference.

You think Atl is a bad bowl destination for SEC teams but you think being sent out to San Diego for the Holiday Bowl is reasonable?

If anything we should axe one of the SEC-B1G match-ups. What are there 4 or 5 now?

Yes, San Diego is a better trip than Atlanta.
