CKS-coached teams usually start off with slumps, but these two games have been truly awful to watch. Johnson is the only shooting threat on the team, and Davidson quickly learned to shut him down at the 3-point line. After that, they went on a 10-0 run to finish the first half. Without DJP, this team has no shot, but he's not even a strong shooting threat either. How much blame is on recruiting for this? Ever since CKS lost Rice, our recruiting has been abysmal. There's no justification for how low our talent was behind the six top guys last year.

And it got worse today with the loss to Marist. Going to be a very long basketball season...

Yep. Not putting a lot of stock in the win over UTEP, either as they are now 1-4...
