Anyone else attend the simulcast?
This was the weirdest Iron Bowl of my life. AU was on probation and couldn't be on TV so the game was simulcast on a giant Jumbotron set up on the field at Bryant Denny. Fan base was probably 60/40 Bama/Auburn. It was surreal watching the game with a half empty stadium and an empty field.

I was there. It was very weird. Glad things are different now.

it was very odd. that many UA and AU fans in close proximity watching the game led to A LOT of fist fights in the stands.

I was there....Barn won the game and there were a lot of drunk Barners there and fights

The video quality back then was less than great for certain and the sun was in your eyes the entire game.
Brutal all the way around.
