Johnny Football to Tebow.

I've seen this kid take some big hits and bounce up and play like nothing happened. It reminds me of when Tebow took a direct shot from Laron Landry. I thought Tebow is done, but he bounced up and kept playing. Also, his a bility to adlib plays is pretty good.

tebow was straight up line it up and power through the line.

manziel is like a god damn worm that won't go down.

the only way you'll stop him is with great man coverage in the secondary, and fast/disciplined LBers.

Tebow was a bull in a china shop.

JFF is an ally cat that you can't get a good grip on

Johnny Football is much more comparable to Fran Tarkenton and Archie Manning than he is Tebow.

Like the ESPN comparisons, more Ty Detmer than Tebow.

Physically there are some differences though both can flat out play.

Impact wise I argue JFF actually means more to aTm than Tebow did to UF. In '06 UF had a sick Defense and he was a role player. UF likely wins the NC without him.

Without JFF aTm is no better than a 4 L team at this point. His impact is closer to Cam in what he meant to that team.

aTm and Sumlin's story in the SEC won't be completely told untill JFF is gone, or goes through a slump. He is that good.

Except for his career, I think Ty was negative in rushing yardage. Yeah, here we go: 15,031 passing yards, 14,665 yards of total offense.

This. Watch old films of these guys escaping the rush and then making something happen. They were amazing. JFF is amazing.

I'm gonna leave this here:

0 TDs

3 ints

27 rushing yards

276yds on 56 att for a whopping 4.9ypc.

LSU's defense is built to stop guys like him and will be for the foreseeable future. Chavis takes speed over size 100% of the time and that's what contains Manziel.

Without Tebow we lose to Tennessee in 2006 and don't make the championship.

Tebow was a beast; I'm not taking anything away from him. Still without him UF is no worse than a 2 Loss team and a solid Top 10.

Without JFF A&M might have no less than 4Ls likely more.

Just saying biggest impact, not better player.
