What's the opinion on here? I hate to say it but I think Bama could win one if given the chance. Last years loss to LSU lit a fire under them. Do they have a legit chance again at it this year or does the SEC get hosed?

Nope. This is the year the streak will be broken for SEC teams. Too much chaos has to happen.

Agreed. Bama is not the best team in the country anyway. I don't know who is, but it ain't bama.

Yes.

I think Oregon loses to Stanford and Notre Dame loses to USC.

Not a big gap in the computers between Oregon and Alabama.. and Alabama is through the meat of their schedule already. Oregon has games to go. A 1-loss Oregon may (should?) get in over a 1-loss Alabama? A 1-loss ND may get in over Bama too.. 4 ranked wins already compared to Alabamas 2.

Oregon remaining games:
#13 Stanford
#17 Oregon St
#15ish UCLA/USC championship game

Alabama remaining games:
Western Carolina (1-9)
Auburn...
#5 Georgia

I think we may see a conference champion loser from Big12/Pac12 get into the game once again.

Only if two of these three teams lose:

Oregon
Notre Dame
Kansas State

Who do you take in the BCSCG?

1-loss Oregon (loss to ranked Oregon St on the road)
1-loss Alabama (loss to ranked A&M at home)

Oregon would have more quality wins and to quote 2011 Alabama.. "the better loss"...

Undefeated Kansas St is obviously in. 1 loss Notre Dame.. who knows..

Yep, this is where I am too. Then Either Ga/Bama make the title game against K State. Slaughter either way.

This.

Not only do 2 of ND, K State, and Oregon have to lose with only 2 weeks left in the season, but Oregon might actually have to lose twice due to SOS possibly being higher with more quality wins than a 1 loss Bama or a 1 loss UGA.

A 1 loss SEC champion Alabama or UGA coming off a win over a top 5 team in Atlanta would get in over a 1 loss Oregon, KSU, or ND regardless of strength of schedule. That's what 6 in a row gets you.

The media wants to see an SEC team get beaten in the title game, not left out completely.

There are 3 weeks left, and the SEC is 4 and 5 in the polls. It ain't impossible. A USC win against Oregon and/or Notre Dame, a tu win over K-State the SEC champ will be in the Title Game no matter what(excluding an Auburn or Georgia Tech miracle).

I'm not so sure.. I think Oregon may be immune to that. ND/KSU can't afford to lose a game though.. no conference championship for them to rebound with.

I would laugh my arse off if Alabama gets voted into the game with literally 2 wins over ranked opponents and a home loss.. especially considering the rest of their schedule is .500 or worse.

If there isn't, my sources tell me Slive already has a plan in place to make the winner of the game a retroactive member.

Not a lot of meat on that bone. Could be their undoing.

The best team in the nation is either KSU or Oregon. The SEC will just have to DWI.

No chance. Referees have already given ND two games this year against subpar opponents, and the voters know it.
