I am thinking they will do alright....LSU and Florida gave them the blueprint. aTm won't be able to stop Bama's run game anyway. Manziel can't do shite when he is watching from the sideline.

I can't believe I'm saying this.... but we need to solve our tackling issues and do something about our weakness (fricking Belue) in the secondary.

We got exposed tonight. Tonight was the first time in Saban's tenure I was worried about tackling and defending the pass.

No we just finally put it all together. These are the two best teams. Same as last year. Still different squads but best programs. Y'all roll next week

You guys really didn't have any tackling issues. They just didn't go down when facing like build opponents.

Yeah we do. We didn't fricking wrap up. Our defense played like shite.

Im really not worried about a and m. We had an awful half tonight. We sacked up when we needed to. We will be back to our usual form next weekend.

I think we'll be fine by next Saturday. It bears remembering that we were in perhaps the most hostile environment in the country last night playing a team which has wanted to beat us for eleven months and we didn't play our best ball.

I think this blessing of a win might be just the thing everyone needed to wake the frick up and stop taking things for granted. Our road schedule is at an end and BDS will be on fire next Saturday.

Belue played the TD pass about as well as one can. It is lonely out on that island. There is no defense for a perfectly thrown fade.

The problem was Bama didn't put enough pressure on Mett to affect him.

More concerned about getting gashed on the run.

The D tightened up on the run in the second half. Mett was just on, Kirby was dialing up blitzes, their o-line protected Mett pretty well, and when he knew he was gonna get hit, he stood in there and delivered the ball where it needed to be, dude played a hell of a game. Tackling was sloppy in second half, but D was on the field way too long that whole game.

Gen, chill bro. LSU played fricking great and a lot of the missed tackles by Bama was in the fourth quarter when LSU had worn em down. That was a brutally physical game. I have respect for Texas a&m, but they aren't on the same level as LSU.

Is it really that hard to just admit LSU outplayed you...saying you had an awful half int he same breath as saying LSU outplayed you is contradictory. So which is it?

LSU made key mistakes on special teams and two drives at the end of each half defensively. Other than that the other 57 minutes in the game was entirely theirs in every aspect.

Hmm. Kinda thought that was what I just did. That being said, Alabama played far from perfect. AJ missed a wide open touchdown pass to Cooper in the first quarter. Cyrus muffed the punt return in the second quarter. And last but not least, AJ and Yeldon had the fumble on the handoff exchange in the third quarter inside the 10 yard line. Really, LSU was fortunate to be in the game late...... If you wanna start breaking down "imperfections".

So cause and effect are mutually exclusive?

Yes. LSU outplayed us. The stats can not be denied. The world is also not as black and white as you seem to be implying. LSU played lights out. I admit that. They outplayed us. I admit that as well.

Can you admit that Bama did not play their A game under conditions where their A game was absolutely necessary?

That's our only shot. We need to keep our offense on the field and have those big defense guys run from sideline to sideline and keep them worn out.

I love the SEC. All we ever asked for was a chance and now we have it.

See you in Tuscaloosa.

We will probably win big. Last night was our slip game of he year and all champions have them. UT almost beat us in 2009 but we got it done somehow just like last night.

I know it hurt for y'all to lose but what a bunch of pussy crybabys on here. Y'all lost, and your not a better team. LSU went for broke last night and still lost.

Roll Tide, and have fun watching the natty, we will be playing in it!

I've not seen my Ags run plays as fast as we did yesterday. That is one thing we will need to do next week; test Bamas conditioning. This of course assumes we can move the ball on them and that is admittedly a healthy assumption.

This conference is so flicking fun. Great games every flicking week and they all have major implications.

I've found College Football Heaven and its name is SEC.
