I would think most folks here would be in agreement that the officiating in this league is not up to the standard that the league demands.

As another example, I read that Arkansas received an apology from the office for a touchdown scored against Ole Miss that was called back (per Danny West tweet).

Danny West ?@DannyWest1 For what it's worth, word is Arkansas received an apology for the TD that was called back vs. Ole Miss.

I know each of you can submit examples of just plain incompetent calls against your team, maybe even against Alabama (just had to throw that in there.)

What do the AD's or schools have to do to get this crap fixed?

What league on earth does have excellent officiating?

I heard all this talk about horrible officials in the SEC, but it's not that bad, not at all.

Stop whining.

If you're referring to the play where Arky got called for illegal formation, I'm not sure why the league would apologize for it. It looked to be the correct call.

As long as they continue their trend of not taking 15 freaking minutes to review a play that is obvious everyone in the stadium I'm okay with them. They've always been kind of pitiful so I guess I'm used to it.

Only Arkansas fans complain a ton about SEC officiating and it's pretty much ALWAYS when they lose, every time just about it.

The REC has the officiating crew exactly where it wants it. Don't complain. Simply embrace.

Hire big 12 refs for a season as replacements. You thought the NFL replacements were shite.

Tell Slive to start handing out demerits and investigating refs who make shitty calls despite proof. Fire them for continued shitty calls. Hire Ed Hocculi.

We realize they're human. Humans make mistakes and many are corruptible. However, what is your proposed solution? We cannot completely trust computers to do some human jobs because computers are programmed by humans. See the problem? Our best bet would be to trust software developers to design and implement an agreed upon system that could officiate games. Problem is, could we really trust them, or would we begin to doubt the computers and ask for the return of the human officials, which gets us back where we started.

Move the SEC home office to Dallas, or just out of Alabama. Hire refs with no SEC school affiliation.

We have calls go against us, they do not cost us the game. Move on, life continues and there's always next year.

When was the last time officials decided the outcome of a game against Bama?

Right or wrong, there's a perception that Bama and Notre Dame are two teams that the refs won't beat.
