Now that we are just a few days away, wanted to see how the fanbase is feeling. I honestly feel we may keep it closer than the national pundits think, but that could just be me being a homer.

Mizzou 21 Florida 31

i think something like 17-13 or 13-10 MU. not sure their offense is good enough to break 30 unless MU turns it over a few times.

Wait you're calling for a mizzou win, dude I hope you're right but I just don't see how that can happen. And at least 10 of my points given to Florida we D/ST, they are that good

Yes, I think MU "can" win. Not sure MU will, but I'll pick them. UF's offense is about as bad as us. They will have a hard time scoring unless MU turns it over or MU's D just doesn't bring it.

MU is more than capable of scoring on D or ST, too. For UF being a top10, this is about as good of a matchup as this MU team could hope for.

USC had a severe hangover after losing their first game. UF might have the same problem.

On top of all this, we have to get a good performance out of the QB spot at some point this year, right? Why not this weekend?

Realistically, Florida 27 Mizzou 13. We still haven't put a solid 4 quarters together. If we can do that and eliminate turnovers and get some movement on offense, if for nothing else but field position after punts, I think Mizzou can pull off an upset along the lines of 20-17.

I'm being optimistically realistic.

Mizzou wins 24-17

There is something about this matchup, strengths/weaknesses are a decent matchup for us to pull off an upset.

If our offense can come alive at all, it is possible.

My prediction is that our defense will outscore our offense.

I think their defense will shut us down pretty well, and our defense will be gassed by the middle of the 3rd quarter. Then Gillislee romps.

Oh I think you're right, realistically. If we want to keep it reasonably close or have any chance (heart talking there), we have got to eliminate turnovers. Even if they shut us down, get a first down or two before punting. Keep the field position working for us, let the defense make a stop or two and turn it into FG's.....then let the 4th quarter begin

Somebody talk me back down. At the beginning of the season a lot of people talked about how Mizzou would lose a game they should win (Vandy) and would steal one they should lose (Florida????). Not putting it past this team yet.
