Sucks for the kid. Seems like he is disappointed in himself and the team.

fwiw, I made Norwood quit in high school

Seems like Norwood is slinging some asteisms at LSU. IT's all good. I'm glad they have this game circled. I'm glad they are using CLM's quotes to pump them up. Whatever they have to do to get up for the game.

Sounds like Saban is just reaching for motivational techniques. I mean it should be hard to motivate a team throttling everybody, and they are playing a team this week with offensive struggles that you just beat less than a year ago by 3 TDs in their own back yard.

As an LSU fan, I have to say that:
• Winning the SEC championship
• Going 9-0 in conference play
• Beating Bama in Tuscaloosa
... is decent compensation for losing the NC game. Would've sucked to NOT win the SEC and then lose the NC on top of that.

We really don't have to do much considering LSU is a cupcake this year
