He didn't travel with the team. I don't know that he's quit. I think he's a talented runner, but doesn't have it upstairs. It wouldn't be the end of the world if he did leave.

Edit: I just saw on twitter where Blakely and Florence have quit. No idea if that's true.

I have said that I think Blakey will leave. Chizik is punishing him for fumbling and he is not going to sit.

Why is Blakely being punished but Fannin played all throughout 2010?

Fannin was a talented third down back, and easily the best we had. At the time we had Mike Dyer, a true freshman who was a liability in pass pro, and OMac, who was even tinier than he is now. Fannin was pretty much the obvious choice as 3rd down back, and that's where he got 90% of his playing time all season.

Now, we play Tre and OMac on regular downs, and Prosch plays a lot of pass-pro downs. Not much left over for someone who has a fumbling problem.

I've been wondering why therozie has not been playing. He has played well when he gets in there.

Chizik has not been putting the best players on the field. Tis is obvious bt the play of Nova yesterday.

Auburn is having its worse season in over half-a-century and which sucks arse.

But I'm a true believer that losing reveals the true character of a man and if you can't support me when I'm down, I don't need you around when I'm back on top

Chizik will next be back on top when he is an elite DC again, which is what he will be for the rest of his career

I wish Chiz was gone and who ever takes over as HC even on an interim basis would wipe everyone's slate clean. It would give these guys a fresh start. Nothing would be worse than hemorrhaging talent right before Chiz gets the boot

Makes sense.

If these three do quit now, they have to be three of the biggest idiots in the world! The freaking head coach is about to be canned. They will have all new coaches pretty soon. If they quit, they'll have to find a new team and sit for a year.......just to get new coaches.

It's like the player that left for Nebraska. Guess what . . . Not only did Nebraska underachieve in the Big12 but they're underachieving in the Big10 also and Ohh BTW, Pellini will probably be fired right around he time Chiz is.

The moral of the story is: The grass isn't always greener on the other side

It'll really hurt to lose Therezie and Florence. Two of my favorite players...

Maybe they were told that Chizik was staying.

I think they can be saved if CHiz is given the boot. These guys aren't on the field because of lack of talent, they aren't on the field because Chiz is too much of a fricking douche bag. It finally caught up with him though. The team quit on him and he is drowning in the shite storm raining down on the program.

Yep. Running backs are a dime a dozen. I really never understood why Therezie was not on the field more
