The Top 5 SEC teams are the top 5 in the nation

We always like to say every SEC team is better than everyone but this year Bama, Florida, LSU, USCe, and Georgia would all win the NC against any non conference team (with the posssible exception of Oregon....maybe, well probably not)

Oregon is scary good this year. The defense is a big step ahead from where it's been for them for several years.
Also, as much as I hate to say it, Notre Dame's defense has been incredible the last several games.

I dont really believe ND's and Oregon's defenses are that good. The "experts" were also telling us that Texas and USCw had an SEC caliber defense earlier this year

I never heard that about USCw, really. The defense, especially the line, was seen as a liability, more so after the best player on the team was lost for the season right before the season began

Shutting down Navy, Michigan, Michigan St and Purdue isn't really anything to write home about. Mich and MSU are awful on offense. Oklahoma will take them behind the woodshed

There's no way Georgia has a better team than Oregon. I'm not sure Florida does either.

As good as the Tigers looked Saturday, I'm not convinced they are one of the best 5 teams in the nation. Walking away with 9 points in 3 trips inside the 5 just doesn't feel like championship football. Also don't believe that UF andUSCe are truly among the best 5 in the nation either. And UGA, GTFO.
