JOHNNY FREAKING FOOTBALL

Whoop dat piggie arse

"Manziel, in only his fourth start, broke a Southeastern Conference record for total offense with 557 yards, besting the previous standard of 540 set by Mississippi’s Archie Manning in 1964. Manziel threw for 453 with three touchdowns, including a nifty 80-yard scoring pass to Ryan Swope on a double-move route. And Manziel rushed for 104 yards on 14 carries with a 52-yard rollout-turned-improvised scramble." Brent Z

he is clearly getting better and better each week. This weekend against Ole Miss on the road will be an interesting test. Ole Miss has been better since getting smoked by the horns

He definitely had more zip on his throws than I expected. Still, a lot of his incompletions happened because he bounced his throw or overthrew his receiver. He'll never have a great arm, but I'm thinking that because he scrambles so much, a lot of his inaccuracy stems from his footwork. Maybe that will continue to get better.

Sure he can--for college.

If by "great" you mean NFL, then okay.

:56 mark had Swope on the crossing route open. First TD shown, could have hit EZ as well. He will improve
