Why didnt Auburn take Marcus Roberson?

Coaches didn't like the way he spelled Robertson. They always felt he was leaving out the "T", and felt he would struggle in class.

He couldn't make up his mind on picking a school, and coaches knew they could get Jermaine Whitehead as a backup plan. In hindsight, I wish we could've somehow gotten Roberson instead of Rose. There's no doubt though, we could've gotten Roberson if we wanted to. I'm still pissed we let him go.

everybody we didn't take is producing and everybody we took are busts. All comes back to coaching.
