2013 conference football schedule...any ideas when it will be finalized?

It seems like this needs to be decided pretty quick, doesn't it? Anybody have any idea when this will be finalized?

Probably Dec like last year
I can't see too much changing for LSU other than possibly moving the A&M game to Thanksgiving replacing Hogs and possibly more early SEC games for TV inventory

This year's schedule was obviously put together very late. But why should they wait so long to get 2013 finalized? I have no idea what factors affect when a schedule is finalized, I'm just not sure why the SEC needs to wait on this.
It's not that big of a deal, but I's like to know.
