My friend was talking to me about this and I thought it was funny

While Kirby Smart never truly entertained the offers he received last year, he will start looking for head coaching jobs this coming year.

So after 2 years of Smart being a head coach with experience and after Chiz gets the boot in those 2ish years does Kirby come in like Dye did?

Similarities-

Both played football at University of Georgia

Both were All-Sec players

Both assistants at Alabama during dominant run of the program

Both were defensive minds

Both learned during most successful coaches of the era

Why in the hell would we hire a guy who has never been a head coach? That is Nick Saban's defense bro.

Changed the post to reflect the fact that he will be a head coach next year and will have experience in 2ish years

He would not come to Auburn. But we dont want him anyway.

We need a proven head coach. No more projects.

Differences: Kiby Smart is just a figure head. Nick Saban in the DC at Bama and calls all the plays.

True, and coaches from the Saban tree do not have a very good track record thus far. I think he employs good yes men that work well in his system, but don't have the skills to do what he does.
