That I am actually worried about the MSU game. WTF? We are Auburn and will whip their arse. 31-14 tigers

I'm worried but I also realize that the MSU teams Mullen is putting on the field are significantly better than the MSU teams of the past.
Yeah his record against the SEC West is ugly but this is also the strongest the SEC West has ever been. Mullen took the State job at a tough time to be successful.

We need this win. It sucks to say that, but this is a big momentum game. Lose and it hurts our confidence. Win, and it is a huge boost for our young players mojo.

A resounding win would make me feel a WHOLE lot better going forward. Guess that's an obvious statement as an AU fan, but you're talking about a team that struggled with Florida Atlantic and Samford last year.

We've recruited light years better than they have. Our depth is at least equal and more talented. Our staff is better. We are in Mullens head. No way auburn should lose this game

Yeah, it sucks to NEED to beat State. Our must wins are usually saved for our rivals. State has been a gimme historically and is definitely not a rival.

All of this. Mullen is a damn good coach. His record doesn't reflect it, but he has made State very competitive. Other than his first year, the last two Auburn games have come down to the final play. His teams don't quit. This one will be another fight till the very end. I'm not sure if we'll win, but I'm still confident that we'll play one helluva game tomorrow morning.

At least under Chizik we don't have to worry about which team will show up at 11. I hated the night before 11am games during the Tuberville era b/c I knew what AU team we'd see.. a terrible one that looked like they were still asleep.

That trend didn't start until 2005/2006, or as I like to call it: when Auburn got good and stopped playing so many JP Sports games.

Very true. Those games were beyond painful and that's why I remember them the most.
