The thing is though that when you see a really hot Midwestern woman she is really hot, imo. Not sure why that is, though.

It's because of the men, most wear a beard to keep warm in the winter. As such women don't need to maintain their appearance as well and will often become uglier and fatter, the latter of which also helps in the winter.
