Does losing Da'Rick Rogers make Tennessee better or worse?

The obvious answer is that they will be worse but I've seen many teams in the past teams be better off with players that are cancerous. I think with him being gone it will help us come together as a team and it also says noone is safe from being booted off the team. We also have two of the most talented receivers in the league with CP and Justin Hunter playing wideout so its not like we dont have a wideout to throw too.

worse, obviously.

I don't think it really changes our outlook though. 7,8,9 wins. that's the range. 8 being most likely.

How many INTs did we lose when we booted Janoris?

It made us worse on D but he had to go. I see a similar situation for UT.

Once upon a time we heard that double teams didn't matter anymore because of 3 all world WRs. Now we add in Zach.

If one of the other 2 WR's go down, you're instantly in trouble

If that happened with Rogers on the team, it wouldn't make that big of a difference.

THAT'S where you guys are screwed

Doesn't make things easier for De'Rek Dooley.

It sucks, and he was was easily one of our top three most talented players. But we'd been a lot worse off, if we'd lost Bray, or someone off the front 7.

It's not the end of the world, and I expect we'll still be more competitive than most on here anticipate.

Nothing about this makes the team better....except, maybe the fact that we won't have to deal with his drama MIGHT make the team a little more focused...but that's about it.

Short term, worse. Rogers and Hunter (and I guess that other JC guy that is "supposed" to be all-world) on the field at the same time would have been a nightmare. Would have ended up in a lot of situations with a safety trying to cover one of them. The UT offense becomes much more managable now. Defenses will at least be able to put corners on UTs biggest WR threats 90% of the time.

Long term, maybe better. If this can send a message and help Dooley be viewed more seriously and in control by the players, other coaches, and fans.

it was bold move by Dooley(though some reports say it came from above), this year will likely determine if he ever coaches high major football again.

worse. at but at least we have Hunter and CP.

it's very easy to figure out actually. if our rivals are very happy with what happened yesterday, it's bad for us.

frick long term this and long term that. last year, Dooley kicked out the best player on defense a week before kick off. and we all know how 2011 season turned out.

No. He should have done it long ago IMO.

Look, DR is gone. If he had done it last year then the team could have moved on already and been fully adjusted.

By the way, can we let CP catch some passes before we crown him as great. No? OK.

I opened this thread thinking of a witty reply to your silly question....but then I saw that you were serious.

Umm, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that losing one of your top WRs will make your offense worse, and by association, make your team worse
