Or this first down.

Photoshop!
(Btw, the angle the ref was looking at it was likely different than the angle of the camera. And there was only one angle that counted in that situation. )

That actually is a first down It's actually to the end of the chain which isn't connected directly to the pole. Plus the pole is leaning a little.

I'm legally obligated to have bias that it's not a first down.

It was much more entertaining than the BCSCG.

Oh most definitely. I would be doing the same if the situation were reversed

That was a great game. Had he actually stretched his arm out, MSU takes it.

Relf=not smart player
Relf was a physical specimen who was athletic but wasn't very smart. At least football IQ wise. Never saw a senior QB take more sacks than he did this year. He refused to throw the ball away to avoid lost yardage.

This is another thing that irks me. It seems like everyone forgets that had he scored it would have only taken it into overtime.

I really wanna watch this game solely to watch the real life play again

the camera ws looking right down that white line, and they gave it to you and replayed everything we did. Total BS officiating the whole game. Then the ref turning his back on Mullen in the second to last play of the game was inexcusable. The ref ran about 8 seconds off the clock while Mullen had to run down the sideline to get the bastatrds attention. Ref didn't want an OT game and y'all got the win

The pole is leaning and you just have to get to the end of the chain, not to the pole.

Yeah they definitely didn't put time back on the clock or anything.
Had Mullen done the smart thing and called a bootleg or any pass play on first down you might have taken it to OT.

Please don't deprive him of his victimhood!

I think after that and Ballard not getting the touchdown when he flew in the air over the pylon before being knocked out of bounds Mullen saw that there was no way the refs were going to allow an OT game. I am still furious about that and voiced my disguest with the SEC via email to which they have never responded. If that kind of shinanigans happens in StarkVegas that ref will be assaulted before he gets out of the stadium. We know the SEC will not ever help out the smaller schools so we have to come the conclusion that we will take matters into our own hands

Please feel free to rewatch the game and count the number of reviews AU had vs us. Everytime you got near the 1st down line on key plays you were automatically awarded a first. Everytime we did they brought out the sticks. And we were usually on or over it. If they had measured yours you would have lost about 5 key first downs in that game.
