With all this 6-2 or 6-1-1 talk, why do we have candy asses that are afraid to play a nine game sec slate?
Who are they? Is miles against it? I say bring it on. I'd 100% rather see Bama - uga, than a useless Bama - North Texas game. Screw the extra revenue that extra lame home game every year generates. I think it would balance out with the extra tv revenue.
Thanks for your time.

9 game schedule is only way to move forward. I don't know why it's getting so much hostility.

Because the OOC schedule would three "Alabama-North Texas" type games.

Maybe because I'd like to see my team healthy at the end of the year?

This is the only way to do it. If you try to keep a major OOC game your team is gonna be hurting at the end of the year.

Why? Man up and play someone. If we are the best conference in the country we should be able to play 9 and play good OOC games. Becasuse of AU/UA/Tenn and UGA I don't get to watch my team play UGA UF and UT once but every 14 years and that's bull shite. Grow a pair and worry about OOC later.

Merlin's plays no one out of conference anyway so State is irrelevant in this argument.

Florida, UGA, and USCe already have a permanent OOC opponent. Adding an extra game pretty much guarantees that they won't be playing anyone else. A 9 game SEC schedule would be a gauntlet...hell 8 already is. That's why a majority of coaches don't want to endure something like that.

Well they need to man up for the fan's sake. If you don't play every team in your conference at home at least every 7 years then there is no point in being in the same conference.

If they gave a damn about the fans, they wouldn't have expanded in the first place considering most were against it. All of this crap could've been avoided....but we just had to get the Houston TV market.
