And he has great success there. Although it might irritate Hog fans a little if that were to happen. Do you think Arkansas fans would be a little annoyed if Petrino went to Ole Miss and they started beating Arkansas on a regular basis?

I would think they would be irritated by anybody who beat them regularly, Petrino or not.

Considering how jealous they were when Nutt left them for Ole Miss, you could probably expect that.

Petrino is Mike Price now. He blew his shot. The best Petrino will do now is schools like UTEP, Fresno St, and UNLV. SEC type schools won't touch him.

Petrino will be out of the NCAA for a long time.

His next job will be in the NFL or elsewhere.

Yeah, I'd rather not. He'd win games, but he'd frick us or himself over in two years, tops.

Petrino is done in the NCAA for a while and he is TOAST in the SEC FOREVER. He'll be back in the NFL & after a few years, he may find a job somewhere in the NCAA but the SEC is done with him.

After walking out on a team in the middle of the season, I don't think you will see him in the NFL. Maybe he will go the Mike Leach route and end up out west.

Annoyed that a divisional opponent is regularly beating them with a coach that royally fricked them? Really?

And I bet he will be blackballed by a lot of NFL teams for what he did in Atlanta.

I think you are wrong about this. Petrino has proven he can produce a winner in the SEC in fairly short order.

You might be right about a couple or three schools not taking a chance - about the only schools I don't think would seriously consider him are probably Alabama, Arkansas (obviously), Georgia (purely because of the additional Falcon's baggage) and MAYBE LSU, but I can see them at least talking to him.

All the others, I think you'd see Petrino get a SERIOUS look from.

The pressure to win is too great, and personal issues aside, Petrino is a winner.

I don't think LSU would touch him. The only teams I would see that would talk to him are OM, SC, UK, and that's it. Maybe TAMU. Of course, that's if there are no other coaching options available to these schools.

LSU interviewed him when Saban left for the Dolphins. LSU couldn't stand his arrogant, prick attitude then and wouldn't hire him, so why would you think they might now?

Petrino completely screwed the pooch this time. There is no SEC school that will give him the time of day. He will find another job, but it will be at a non-BCS school.
