Bray is a poor mans Brody Croyle. He piles up stats vs garbage teams and sucks arse when someone gets in his face. He's also yet to make it a season without getting injured for multiple games

I think Bray has all the talent and measurables in the world...and lacks the self control to become great.

I also believe that McCarron is an okay QB,surrounded by great talent, who steps up when needed.

McCarron in his first year starting with a a completely average receiving core.

249-376
3,023 yards
19 TDs
5 INTs

He did a lot more than play good vs LSU in the NC.

UT's entire season rides on the decision making skills of Tyler Bray. That gives me, as a UA alumnus, the warm and fuzzys.

Decision making isn't part of talent though. He has a good arm! That makes him the best.

I'll take Peyton's brain over Jeff George's arm 8 days a week.

I don't even think this is true at all. What the hell has he done to show this? Make a few "NFL throws" vs UT Chattanooga?

He's not even close to a player like Ryan Mallett in terms of talent.

You can't even spell half of the words you type, shut the frick up.

Oh, I guess you think everyone who has Tyler Bray projected so high are stupid too, huh?

so did Ryan Leaf and Ryan Mallett

There's no reason to compare these 2. Ryan Mallett fot drafted by a team with one of the best quarterbacks ever. He could've easily been drafted by someone else and be starting.

the guy has a lot to prove whether you wanna believe it or not..

No shite, that goes for every college football player. You can't just go out there and lolly-gag around.

No shirt, we have our defense and run game to rely on. Also our special teams are elite.

if this were true he would have been traded by now. The Pats only wanted him as trade bait. Obviously, no one has bit yet.

I am done with this thread. I will come back to bump it when Bray misses half the season and fails miserably.

So, having seen you say this, put him on a team like Tennessee and see how far they get. Outside of wide-out and quarterback, Tennessee is pretty mediocre at every position. Bray runs for his life half the time he takes a snap.

Why would some team try to reach a trade for a quarterback that has never even seen any meaningful time in the NFL? At least we saw what Kolb and Cassell could do against other teams. Same with Matt Flynn. Mallett hasn't had the chance yet.

fair point, you do realize Mallett is the 3rd QB right? So even if Brady goes down he still won't play.

The same reason an NFL team drafted Ryan Tannehill 8th overall. A lot of NFL GMs are kind of stupid.

I agree completely.

I wouldn't argue with TT9. Last week I saw him cough up his nuts and put them on a platter for some female poster in the most shameful hardlegging I've ever seen. He was talking about how much smarter women are than men. It was a disgrace.

Bumping this thread, after Bray gets hurt due to a pathetic offensive line, would be proving my point, brah. I'm not even a Tennessee fan, but I can't wait to see him prove all of you Alabama fans wrong. It's not hard to admit that the guy has talent and will be a first round pick if he keeps his head. The dude was doing outstanding as a freshman.
