Really? Multiple SEC schools for one coach.

I think Urban is probably a sure thing as well. Will they do another entry for Spurrier, he is already in the Hall of Fame?

Miles, Saban, and Spurrier are all locks. Richt has a good shot, depending on how the next five or six years pan out. Fat Phil will be in the HOF one day, so you could already list him for UT. Meyer is certainly a HOFer so you can list him down for Florida.

Do college coaches go in with a certain team like players do? If so I would think Urban goes in with another team outside of UF unless he has another nervous breakdown while at OSU and leaves in the next 3 years.

If Meyer doesn't win anything at OSU, his only hall of fame worthy accomplishments will be at UF.

Richt is a lock. John Cooper is a Hall of Famer and Richt >>>>> Cooper as a coach.

Don't think so, think they go in as a HC and it lists where he coached, but focusing more on the school he was most successful at.

What do you have to have to get in? If Miles finishes at LSU with 10 years, 100+ wins (140 career), 1 NC and 3 SEC Championships, is that enough? ETA: Never mind, misread your post and didn't see him listed.

You don't have to worry about that. It was like Saban coming to Bama. It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when Ohio State will win a national championship with Meyer at the helm.

Not saying he wont but I am not sure it's that easy. He will have to get OSU to beat an SEC team first.

The SEC won't always be in the game. It's just a matter of time before our streak in the big game comes to an end.

Miles is a lock unless LSU completely falls apart in the future. People are acting like the college football Hall of Fame is as difficult to get into as the pro football Hall of Fame. Here are some of the coaches that have been inducted into the Hall of Fame. Earle Bruce Lloyd Carr John Cooper Jim Donnan Charlie McClendon Don Nehlen Gene Stallings (who I like a lot but accomplished nothing outside of Bama and was only at Bama for seven years) George Welsh Miles is a comparable coach if not a better coach than all of those coaches in that list. If he can win just nine games a year for the next five years, he will have a similar number of wins to Lloyd Carr with a better winning percentage. And Lloyd made the HOF only four years after his coaching career ended. Les is in.

I am not sure Meyer is anywhere close to the same guy as when he came to UF, so I think assumptions that he wins are a bit premature until we see how he handles being in the game again.

It's basically if you win the NC, you are most likely getting in unless you committed atrocities right after.

Miles is way better than all those guys except maybe BeBes. I'd say those 2 are about the same level, though Miles can pass him up if he continues his current pace.

Probably some old chap who was a player-coach.
