All 2/3, no sweeps this week.

Kentucky over Tennessee
Ole Miss over Bama
LSU over Auburn
Georgia over Vandy
MSU over Arkansas (wishful upset pick)
Florida over USCe (what I would have said wednesday)

Anyone disagree? maybe thinking some sweeps or 2/3 the other way?

Most Gamecock fans still wouldn't be surprised if we lost this series. Yesterday we had Roth and Price combo which we hadn't seen all year. Before lsat night Price had been moved to a starter, not bad, but he is a sick closer. (I have no doubt we would've won game 1 vs UK if Price had closed) Which is the problem, the rest of our bullpen and starters are shaky so I wouldn't be surprised to see them get dinged up a bit in the next 2 games. Hope I'm wrong though.

Also we were averaging 5 runs a game by the start of last night's game. I was surprised it was even that high but we got 9 last night, so hopefully the bats will stay alive.

I have a feeling that last night could be the start of something good. That game would have been even worse if we had capitalized in the first inning when we had bases loaded, no outs. Baseball is a funny game... sometimes it just takes one inning to set a team off. That being said, we could still lose this series, because Florida has one hell of a team.

Here's a good arkansas/state summary.

[link=(Kentucky at Tennessee 6:00 PM BSB Florida at South Carolina 7:00 PM CSS ESPN3 BSB Georgia at Vanderbilt 7:00 PM BSB LSU at Auburn 7:00 PM BSB Arkansas at Mississippi St. 7:30 PM BSB Ole Miss at Alabama)]LINK[/link]

They gave us some props for the left field lounge.

Expecting a tight, low scoring nail biter tonight. Probably an arkansas victory saturday and a toss up on Sunday. I would have to agree.

I think our series hinges on if Rally Possum makes a showing.

Auburn over LSU

it wouldnt surprise me. until LSU proves to me they can hit even a little against sec pitching i wont be predicting any sweeps (and series losses wont shock me). especially on the road.

Bring it bitch.

I'm gonna call Ole Miss sweeping Alabama. MSU won't take 2/3 from Arkansas.

No disrespect to Auburn, but if we lose 2/3 or get swept this weekend, its going to be a long conference season.

well they could lose the series and the bats could find their way late like last year (but maybe a little earlier).

its just week 2. just dont get swept and they wont be out of it.
