Solid back. Little bit too much of a drama/headcase but could turn out to be a great addition. If Lattimore returns strong from the injury I'd guess he leaves after next season and he seems like he could be a work-horse/every down type back to fill that role. Seemed intent to go after defensive players in whichever all-star game I saw him play. Had he ran a little smarter I think he'd have scored on a couple of those runs that just went for medium/long gains. Either way, congrats!

Thank God he chose SC and good riddance. Last thing Georgia needs is another whiny, prima-donna bitch who wants all the spotlight for himself.

Hope he actually turns out well, though. We know how hard it sucks to have talented backs with shitty, me-first attitudes...

Was he planning on announcing today..or was he just waiting on Gurly?

Well we have a pretty deep RB core so hopefully if this is how he is during his tenure here he'll have left the team due to some whiny me-first crap long before he becomes our starter.

Btw I had heard that SC talent this recruiting cycle wasn't as strong as it usually is can be but I realized out of the 24 commits we have 11 are from GA and only 4 from SC.

He was waiting to see what Gurley was gonna do. Either would've been a great back to have, best of luck to him

UGA RB's:

2012 - Crowell (So.), Samuel (RsSr.), Marshall (Fr.), Malcolme (RsSo.), Gurley (Fr.), Thomas (Sr.)
2013 - Crowell (Jr.), Marshall (So.), Gurley (So.), Malcolme (RSo.), Henry (Fr.)

Likin this QB-RB-LB situation we got going on

Just counting the guys we have committed. Would be ecstatic to have Jones in that group as well.

And last I heard Samuel will not play any FB next year. Purely gonna be a Zander Ogletree, Quayvon Hicks venture

Per USC's Rivals site, he has been a silent commit since December with plans to announce on NSD. He decided to announce during his OV on Friday bacause he felt it was time.

If he gets buried on the depth chart (likely considering his play last season) I don't see why the coaches wouldn't offer this option to him.
