Last night in the apres game interview, AJ gave a shout out to the Scout team. He was effusive in his praise of the job that those behind the scene players performed.
These are the unrecognized players who contribute in ways that make BAMA successful. Saban process requires everyone to do their job to the best of their ability. Everyone has a role to play.
The fans came through last night by spending a ton of money and making the Superdome about 50-50
It's the Process and the process results in QUALITY.

The performance of the scout team is where these highly touted recruiting classes come in most handy early on. Those top ranked recruits come in as freshmen and give us a great look on both sides of the ball. The worse your scout team is, the worse your team is going to be when it takes the field on Saturday.
I remember watching practices under DuBose during the 1998 season. Scout teams were basically nothing but walk-ons that didn't look like they could start for most high school teams. Boy has that changed...
