Congratulations Piggies! Looks like you found some Defense which doesn't bode well for the rest of us.
I would like to point out to TAMU and other spread offense and these "high power" passing attacks who Bobby Petrino was once all about.
YOU HAVE TO PLAY GREAT DEFENSE AND RUN THE FOOTBALL TO WIN IN THE SEC.
The BIG 10 had it right! We play that brand of football with better athletes.
IMO ARKY was at its best with Davis last season running the ball and with the game last night the way they played defense, proves Petrino "gets it".

When you watch the hogs play you can just sense that petrino is going against his instinct to drop back in the gun and throw the ball all over the field. He is hell bent on the hogs becomming a hard nosed running football team. Its certainly proved for some growing pains and I hope it pays off.

Our OL was extremely young this year.
I'd expect them to be able to open some big holes by next season and playing in the SEC prepares you for whatever ANY other conferences teams can throw at you.
