I teared up. I still have horrible memories from that day as well as the days that followed.

puts the things in perspective, doesn't it? All of the players being honored by ESPN tonight are really doing a great job or representing their schools.

I had to go through Katrina and its aftermath so I have an idea of what everyone is going through. No reason not to put aside football when lives are involved.
