If UGA wins but LSU stays #1, doesn't that knock out Bama...

due to the 2 teams per conference restriction? Or is there an exception if 2 teams are ranked #1 and #2?

Definitely do not want that to happen because there would be so much controversy. Sorry if already discussed...

LSU v Bama in BCSCG, Georgia in Sugar. Everyone else stunned in disbelief

How many times must this be discussed? The one rule that allows three teams from the same conference into the BCS is when the top team teams in the BCS didn't win their conference, and the third did.

What Capstone said. Everybody talked about this as being impossible. I mentioned it in a thread weeks ago and people called me crazy.

Interestingly, it's worth millions to the conference if LSU happens to lose. All you conspiracy theorists start the tape recorders. : lol:

That's correct as far as I know... Again, to all, I'm sorry if this has been discussed and tried to search; just looking for clarity.

There can be three teams if 1 and 2 are not the conference champ.

LSU and Bama to the title game.

Georgia to the Sugar Bowl.

But LSU isn't going to lose to Georgia so it doesn't matter.
