Richardson winning the heisman will be good and bad for Bama

Good for obvious reasons, Bad for the BCSNCG

Extra hype, attention, and the banquet rounds can effect a winner and distract from the NCG.

There are exceptions in the past, but many struggle.

bad, Heisman winners usually lose in the title game. I can only think of a handful who have won both.

again, I am not saying it CAN'T happen, but its tough

Also Cam Newton has a shitty NCG but they won anyway...

Hmmm... Alabama's only Heisman winner didn't care for the "curse". Was 2009 that long ago?

you have Wuerffel, Tebow, Newton, weinke, Lienhart, and I think Ingram who have won both.
