What I "love" about Hog fans

This doesn't apply to every Hog fan, of course, but many Hog fans I've attempted to discuss our respective teams' talent and this Friday's game with are incapable of such. Every argument is slanted to support their position. Two examples are shown below. These are frequently found throughout Tigerdroppings.

First, it's "we're the only team to have beaten three Top 15 teams." Oh, you mean "at that time, a Top 15 team." Not currently. i.e. A&M, Auburn, S. Carolina. Two of those teams have four or more losses now and aren't ranked. So, by that logic, if you beat a team in the first game of the year, who is ranked #1, but doesn't win a game the whole year, you beat the #1 team in the country, and it should count as such. Yep, really noteworthy and beautiful logic.

Further, Arkansas will quickly dismiss Oregon as a good team because, "oh, they lost to USC; they have two losses NOW. They aren't as good as us." So, you can count your wins based on the team's ranking AT THE TIME YOU PLAY THEM, but LSU must count their wins based on their record NOW. Ah, yes. The double standard. How nice to see you, again.

Second, it's "if we beat you, we should be ahead based on that one game." So, what you're saying is, the rest of the season's body of work doesn't matter. At all. Like, none. Excellent. Well, why the hell did we play the rest of those games? What a waste of my fricking time!! I get all excited and pumped about all of these huge wins, on the road, against Top 25, Top 5, Top 2 talent, and it doesn't count. WTF. We should just wait until Thanksgiving every year to start football and go from there. Let's just schedule a bunch of powerpuffs to beat up on since it doesn't matter what you do the whole season.

Yet, here is the kicker, Arkansas fans continuously ask LSU fans to point out other teams that deserve to be ahead of them based on their schedule. So... your (Arkansas) year's schedule doesn't matter in relation to LSU, but it does when trying to justify your position as #3 in the BCS. Jesus, pick a stance.

If you're going to argue your point, go for it. IDGAF. But be consistent. It really isn't that difficult.
