I am siding with the Gumps on this! Why the hell are pussy LSU fans asking about fairness for the MNC? Let's get this straight. LSU wants to play any worthy opponent and wants an SEC crown. All teams agree to the MNC rules of BCS 1 vs 2. It's not about fair, it's about the system. LSU has benefitted greatly from that system. Anyone who complains about facing Bama or any other team in the MNC or having to go to ATL either never played football or need to change their tampon.

Why should Alabama have to beat LSU once but LSU have to beat them twice?

Honest question.

I'm pretty sure the rest of the country wants to see the rematch.

Cause that's the way the BCS may break down. Same reason some teams have to beat a team from the other division twice to win the SEC title. Just the way the system is set up, voters and computers pick 1 and 2.

Agree 100% Bama fans are wanting another shot and LSU fans are looking for every reason why Bama shouldn't get it

Honest question - if the roles were reversed - you wouldn't feel LSU deserved the rematch?

Cause Alabam is the second best team as long as we win out. And the system sets up the two best teams not conf champs or who played earlier. Nonenof those provisions are in the rules. One versus two that is it.
