I'm just killing time till the 11/5 Bama game... Any cocks out there think that the Garcia drama may have worn out the OBC? He just seems kinda drained.

No. If anything it's a relief and he's reenergized. We'll be just fine without Garcia.

Spurrier is going to coach Shaw up for the next two years.

Not at all. He sees Connor Shaw as the next Danny Wuerffel -- a very smart and coachable kid who can run Spurrier's offense (the antithesis of Garcia).

Now, Spurrier is bummed about the injury to Lattimore. He absolutely loves Marcus -- not just for his talent, but for his work ethic, character and leadership. If Spurrier seems drained, I think it is heartache over Lattimore.

I think he feels plenty of heartache over Garcia as well. He liked Stephen and did not want him to go out that way -- but he also recognizes Garcia brought it on himself. Spurrier will move on quickly -- as will our fanbase.

Garcia who?

I kid. Garcia did do a lot of good things for our football program. I just don't understand what happened to him. He was at least inconsistent last year. This year he was consistently bad.

Spurrier has been quoted several times as saying that Marcus is the hardest working, most dedicated football player he has ever coached. I know he was heartbroken about the injury, and rightfully so.
