that is not really a household name. It's easy to pick Herschel, Bo, Tebow, Namath, etc. One of my favorite Bulldogs of all time is Terry Hoage. All american DB played in the early 80's. Finished in the top 10 in Heisman voting in '83 (almost unthinkable back then).

Tim Horton - There was not one pass that hit him on the hands that he did not catch. Never dropped a ball. Now, he's the running backs coach and the one holdover from the HDN staff that held that recruiting class - and entire program - together until Petrino got here.

Kendall Trainor - Made something like 20 consecutive field goals in the 1989 season. I was kicker for my high school team at the time, so I wanted to emulate him.

Quinn Grovey - He's a household name to Hog fans, but probably not to anyone else on this board. Loved the way he ran that flex-bone offense.

James Rouse - Barry Foster before there was a Barry Foster. Was the perfect complement to Grovey
