The REC is Alabama's "money" club, which is rumored to be very influential in decision making at The Capstone. What is the money club named at your school?

No other program that I know of has such an organized and recognized group whos primary purpose is steering recruits to Alabama... They target recruits and then put influence on certain players. This starts in the 7th grade (maybe sooner)

Wow...Allinn..that is some serious butt hurt..I know folks involved in the REC in my area and that is far from the truth. They give local scholarships to kids who go to Bama and none of it is sports related..They sometimes have a bama coach speak to them.

I love it when boogs get trolled by a bunch of geriatrics getting together once a month to have a mediocre lunch and talk about Coach Bryant's glory days.

Because that's all the REC is.

The REC is hardly the influential, clandestine organization it's made out to be. Literally anyone who wants to pay the dues of ~$300/year can join, and with that you get a couple of dinners meetings where an assistant coach comes to speak and you get to go to a practice. Are there people in the REC that are high level donors? Sure, but you are no closer to the program just by being a member.
