Considering we drove 70 yards with nothing but run plays, it was a pretty good call IMO. Just didn't execute when it mattered. Relf should of jumped in on that last play, guy came at him so low all he had to do was jump.

Yeah. I didn't understand that either.

More baffling than the Saints call Thursday.

If you do 2 quick slants you might even have 3 tries for the touchdown. Absolutely idiotic coaching decision.

I don't care if you have Bo Jackson in the backfield, it's absolutely retarded to not try for 2 plays instead of 1.

No. two chances are always better than one.

With 10 seconds left, you run a quick roll out and:

1) throw it to open reciever in endzone
2) qb run it in untouched
3) throw it out the back of the endzone.

not running a pass play was stupid. It allowed Auburn to only have to make 1 stop instead of 2.

And it was 2nd down with 10 seconds left, so you easily could've gotten 3 plays if you threw it away on the first 2 downs.

That's exactly what I was thinking. If Les calls that play, he is strung up...I didn't understand it at all.

Les wouldn't have actually known there were only 10 seconds remaining but run/pass option was the only right call in that situation.

Didn't like the call by Mullen. He had enough time to do a quick pass first and if it didn't work....then try the running play.

Love the play called, but run it as the second play. Throw the ball first for a free try to win. Indefensible. Mullen is still a genius though.
