It gets Bob Davie off SEC games, so thats a big positive...ESPN Sat night stays the same with Nessy/Blackedge/Rowe...Neal/Ware have the SEC Net games

one thing thats scares me is Beth Mowins has play by play of early ESPN games which could be SEC

the funniest pairing is Pam Ward and Dan Hawkins...combine the amount of suckage she is with Go play intramurals, brother and hilarity might ensue

Who? Why does ESPN try so damn hard to be PC??? I may sound sexist, but I don't want to hear a woman calling play by play in a SEC football.

It's amazing this woman can get a job calling football games on ESPN over hundreds of more qualified men.

Over at CBS I'm sure Uncle Verne gets a jovial chuckle out of this news.

Did I miss Andre Ware on that list? I enjoyed his analysis in the 11am SEC games.

Glad I will be in attendance... and I also agree that women shouldn't announce football. Just sounds terrible and makes it difficult to watch.

Mowins is not that bad. She is good enough to be doing this job. Pam Ward on the other hand...

Wait. I didn't see Herm Edwards name. He's by far the best commentator. He always gets all the players names right and never allows an awkward silence. He must've gotten poached by CBS to do the primetime games.

Completely agree. I never, ever want to hear a chick call a game.

This raises a question, is Pam Ward female?

She would much rather call women's soccer or volleyball anyways.

I like Nessler and Blackledge.

But Ron Franklin and Mike Gottfried were SEC Saturday night football for me. Loved those guys.

Watching the SEC Primetime game was my college pre-game. Tailgate, go to our game, come back out and tailgate and watch the primetime game... then off to the bars. Made for one hell of a Saturday, and Ron Franklin was damn good at his craft.
