They've got 31 commited right now. Did they have early enrolees? Rivals usually shows which guys are on campus and it doesn't have any for them.

Does the OBC have a free pass to take over 28?

They've also got two guys from Rock Hill by the name of Gerald Dixon. Cousins? Brothers?

Brother from different mothers, IIRC.

With Jerell Adams committing this morning, we now have 32. Clowney/Dukes haven't committed yet, but we will probably end up with both. That brings us to 34, not including Cooper and Mauldin (2 commits but unsure of how strong those commitments are).

We can take 28. It's safe to bet that there will be a couple who won't qualify but it looks like we'll have to grayshirt a couple guys. Usually the coaching staff already has these things figured out. They talk/recruit the guys, so they know the ones who will be willing to grayshirt, sit out, go to JUCO, etc.

That's true, but I don't think S Car played with 74 scholarship's last year either.

Keep trying though.

They must be shooting for Ole Miss' record of 38 a few years back.

Yep

Don't have the stats in front of me but aren't there 7 SEC teams with at least 33 signees thus far?

No, Arkansas and USCe are the only SEC schools that are over the 28 limit set by the SEC a couple of years ago. I'm not sure how either will be able to sign all these players on signing day because USCe is not showing any early enrolled players and Arkansas is only showing 1. How do these coaching staffs plan on working around the new SEC 28 player limit with no significant early enrolled numbers to back-count.

As I said, I'm sure there will be a player or 2 who won't qualify. As for the others, they'll decide who to grayshirt accordingly.

Ark had 5 early enrollees start at semester. LINK /

I've heard different stories about how many get to count back to last year, but the most common numbers being used suggest that 3 get to count back to last year, putting our magic number at 31 instead of 28.

Are they already enrolled? If not, how is that gonna work? I only ask because Rivals doesn't show any EE's on their list for S Car. They could be wrong on that though.

If Spurrier has it figured out, more power to him.
