Aubbies - are you worried if Malzahn leaves for MSU or Arky?

I don't see Auburn's offense doing very well without Malzahn and Newton, and the defense hasn't really stopped anyone.
How long does Chizik last?

Wait, you're saying the Chiz isn't the brains behind the operation?

no way he goes to MSU shite hole....he would be more likely to go to Louisville when Charlie Strong gets hired at UF

Not if he takes Ted Roof with him.

I think this is a win-win for State. If mullen stays, good news for State. If he goes, it's always fun to see who you are gonna get and you could pull in another good coach like Malzahn...

Don't be surprised if it's Rich Rod.

Mullen laid out the road map. I'd easily do a couple years of purgatory if it meant getting to a premier job like Florida. Beats the hell out of being the best coach at Auburn and watching Chizik reap the benefits.

Malzahn would easily accept an offer from State, making 1.5-2.2mil while really running the ship>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>being 2nd fiddle in some cheating riddled village in Alabama.

I would be a little worried, but it is inevitable anyway. The best coordiantors don't hang around forever. Gus wants to be a head coach one day, so I figure it would have happened in 2010 or 2011 anyways. I am sure that Chizik would make a great hire to replace him.

May take a little more than that with a low buyout on his end when he is offered better jobs...

Mullen was going to make 2.2-3mil with a raise, I'm just assuming Malzahn will be lower as a 1st time HC. I think Rich Rod makes more sense with his connection to Scott Stricklin, MSU AD.
