QB Question for VOL fans

Hey,
Just wondering, whats the situation with your QBs?
I know Simms started the season. And now, its been Bray. Did Simms get injured? Or did he get benched?
Is Bray the QB of the future?
He's a true frosh right?

Simms was a punching bag while Bray got a grasp of the system. Bray was always going to get the shot when he was ready.
All indication are he is going to be very good, needs to cut down on the picks though. True frosh.

Simms got benched in favor of Bray, who is both a true frosh and the QB of the future. In my humble opinion, Bray is really really good. I don't think I'm the only one.

Simms holds for PAT's.
I can't dog Simms, because the kid took a beating for us against a brutal schedule.
However, Bray is 10x the QB that Simms is, and his upside is exponentially higher.

Bray has a lot of potential. He looked awesome today especially for a true freshman.

As mentioned, Simms was the punching bag for that brutal part of the schedule with the young OL. Bray got to come along slowly. He definitely has the chance to have a bright future. He needs to add some weight in the off season. He is only around 190-200 depending on what account you get at the time.
There is another talented recruit that the OC seems to love that is enrolling early.

Wasn't Simms a walk on? If so you have to give the kid a lot of credit. When do you ever see a true freshman walk on QB start in the SEC or anywhere for that matter.

No, he was a scholarship QB at Louisville, got booted, went to JUCO, passed for a crap ton of yards and then got brought in to TN by Kiffin to get beat around while Bray developed.
