"damn, I hope <my team> doesn't get pulled into this pay-for-play garbage."

I have... several times. I really hope the FBI/NCAA investigation stays *in* Alabama and MS.

Two things you consistently hear about Les Miles:

"sometimes his decisions are nuttier than a fruitcake."

and -- "He runs a clean program."

I for one, hope LSU fans don't collectively live in a glass house.

What other fans out there have had these concerns?

And yeah-- this really isn't an important thread in the "W&L scheme of things"... but, I just wanted to see different discussion, I needed a break from that epic thread.

I just hope an example is made out of one school instead of sanctioning 3 or 4.

Everyday it drags on, I'm saying it.

I think all schools in the SEC should be concerned in regards to the Kenny Rogers situation. According to the interview he did in Dallas, he's been placing players at colleges for a while now.

I've been saying it since the FBI got involved.

That Barner McGreggor's and his scandal in Birmingham with the former mayor seems to be implicated here.

There's no telling who all got paid by McGreggor through rigged slots or however else he laundered and distributed payments. This whole state is implicated in the scam thanks to people like the Auburn Mafia -- Lowder, Dye, McGreggor, et al.

The LSU program is clean under Miles. The one issue we had last year Miles got rid of the coach and the player never played a down for LSU. No worries

i think every alabama fan who is over 12 years old has said that to themselves...although, i have to admit, i've really, really been enjoying not having our name mentioned in the same breath with ncaa investigations....

I honestly haven't worried about for this simple fact: Everyone pays players, yes I said everyone. But some to a greater extent than others.

However, some people :cough: Auburn pay players retarded amounts of money that is funded by shady boosters. I'm not worried about my school cause I know if we're paying players it's a small amount compared to this and also funded by someone who isn't about to go to prison.

My friend on the team tells me Les Miles runs one of the cleanest programs in the SEC. TIFWIW.
