Nightmare senario for Auburn

Check out this very possible senario.
Auburn wins out and makes it to the BCSNCG. Oregon drops a game somehwere and Auburn ends up playing Boise St in the Champ game.
Here is where is goes bad. Auburn looses and gives Boise their long awaited championship and validates them as a force in college football. Can you imagine the meltdown on the Plains. I think mass suicides might happen.
Auburn is already pissed about getting left out the 04 game and they are the redheaded step child of the state to Bama so this game would mean more to them than anything. So, by loosing they not only suffer the humiliating defeat to a Boise St team, they also humilate the entire state of AL and the entire SEC. I mean who wants to be the team that actually looses to Boise St after all these years of debate of if they deserve a shot at the title or not.
Loosing any BSCNCG is bad, but if this senario were to play out Auburn would never live it down.

If Auburn plays Boise, then I'll feel terrible no matter who wins.

Boise is good enough to beat anyone this year. They just couldn't do it every week. Dan Hawkins was saying the difference from being at Boise and elsewhere is that it's easy to get up for one game but impossible to do it every week at a school like that.

It's not the getting up part so much, though that's a big deal too. It's getting your arse physically beat up every week. Boise has #1s about as good as anyone. Depth would be what hurt them playing a real conference schedule.

Didn't say they couldn't...just not going to play a hypotheical with an lsu fan about auburn "emberassing the sec" because they were to be beaten. A feat i would like to remind him his vaunted defense was unable to do
