It wasn't that long ago the East was the dominant division, but times have changed.

We've done our part. 2-0 wins against Fla and Uga.

Going into this year it was 171-165 including SECCGs since expansion; that is not taking into account Alabama's five vacated victories over SEC East teams.

So, right now, it's 175-173 in favor of the West, or 173-170 in favor of the East, depending on what you think of the vacates.

WOW! It really is amazing just how close the divisions are. This just proves that the SEC just beats up on each other.

Its about time the west did something, you guys have sucked for so long it was bound to happen. However, the East will still win it all this year, just watch!!!!

Remaining interdivisional games:

Arkansas at South Carolina
Vanderbilt at Arkansas
Georgia at Auburn
Kentucky at Mississippi State
Alabama at Tennessee
Ole Miss at Tennessee

I'd be shocked if the East wins more than two of those. I wouldn't be shocked if the West wins out.

In the 18 seasons since expansion, the East has led the West in nine of the seasons; the West has led for eight; one season ended in a tie.

Also, the most lopsided the SEC has been in terms of divisions is 12-7: 1998 (East), 2008 (East), 2009 (West).

This looks to be the most imbalanced year ever for the SEC's divisions.

The east carried the SEC for a while, if you don't understand that then you don't watch much SEC football. shite happens.

Pretty Much the entire 1990's, it was Tennessee and Florida that carried the SEC, with Alabama making a showing here and there in the west. This isn't about overall interdivisional records. Nice spin though.

When I said "This", I meant divisional superiority, not this thread. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
