Now that everyone has gotten to see Newton play a couple times now, how many games do you think Miss State wins this year had they gotten Newton?

Personally, I think they beat Auburn and are probably 4-0 right now and 3-1 at worst.

The rest of their schedule shapes up like this:
Sat, Oct 02 Alcorn State
Sat, Oct 09 @Houston
Sat, Oct 16 @Florida
Sat, Oct 23 UAB (HC)
Sat, Oct 30 Kentucky
Sat, Nov 13 @Alabama
Sat, Nov 20 Arkansas
Sat, Nov 27 @Ole Miss

I think Florida, Bama and Arkansas go from losses to toss ups with them winning at least one of those and ending up 9-3 maybe 10-2. This isn't a Cam Newton cock sucking question either, I just think that Mullen would settle and play just Newton as opposed to bouncing between two guys and I think that Newton is just a little better than either option they have.

yeah really. he has the ability to drain the clock when he wants to and he can wreak havoc in the secondary. I think State is a solid team that is just a little behind everyone else in the west right now and a stud athlete at quarterback would make a world of difference for them.

If I were Mullen, I would put my money on Tyler Russell for the future and let him get his bumps this year. He has the potential to be really good for State.

I think that if Mississippi State had Cam Newton we would be winning 8 or 9 games this year (all but Bama, Florida, and LSU)

Why are we asking if Miss St had Newton or if UF has Newton? Who cares... they don't

I don't think those games would be toss ups based on overall level of talent but Miss State would be a pretty good team with Cam. They'd probably win 8 games.

frick Kiffin for offering Simms instead of Newton. And frick Newton for being suspended when our coaches went to his JUCO during our bye week.

Does anyone think Cam Nutron makes it to bowl wk without getting his
Bell rung
Knee banged up
Ribs cracked
Sooner or later someone gets a clear shot and rings his chimes.
Not a dirty shot, but a clean hit that he doesn't see comeing.
Maybe our D will make him pay to cross the line,or mabye not,we shall see.

With his height I could see him hurting his knee. He's a big dude and looks to attack people though.

He is tall and runs upright. 6 6 is a lot to hit. But so far he has been one tough dude. And every thing the aubies said he was.So Cam N.

Tebow made it two or three years before really taking a bigtime shot and then he was never the same. Those type plays are just all about timing and dumb luck.
