Wow. Honestly the nicest, most knowledgeable opposing fans I have ever met. Met a few while tailgating, and spoke to an old couple who has been to almost every Alabama game the past 20 years. Could seriously tell you the scores from every Arkansas-Alabama game.
It wasn't like they gave me the whole "You guys aren't going lose another game!" pity comment just to say it. Just all-around good people.
BTW: What was the reaction after the game on the SECr? This is my first time logging on today

During the actual game it was REALLY active. It was fun though. Everytime you refreshed the page you had two more pages to read through. Roll tide and you guys played a good game.

Alabama fans are all talk on message boards but pretty cool IRL. One of the few SEC games I look forward to meeting the other teams' fans because I know they won't be douchebags(I.E. Auburn fans).

Yeah, my opinion on Bama fans (before this game) came largely from the SEC Rant. Guess you can't judge a whole fanbase by a few bad apples.

Pretty much mutual respect on the rant after the game. Bama fans knew they had no standing to talk shite and Arky fans seemed impressed at how Bama refused to go down even with all the knockout punches early.

Oh yeah, we are nice, I just talk a lot of shite because I like to try and stir shite up. That's what's great about college football, you can talk shite to me all you want and ill just laugh because I know after the game its on to the next team for the both of us and there's (shouldn't be anyway) no hard feelings from either side.

I thank some Bama fans around here for acknowleging the closeness of the game. There were some very respectful Bama fans here after the game. Some of us were enjoying our beers, others were crying in them.

I'm nomming the frick out of em. I swear if I was semi-drunk and an ugly fat bitch offered me a lil debby to go back to her place and frick I might consider it...just because of the debbie cake. It'd almost be worth it just to enjoy that amazing, sweet, God made, square of awesomeness.
